So it has been a while

I know is has been a while since I have blogged. However, recently I had the opportunity to make 300 (yes, you read that correctly) little ladies for a Navy/Marine Officer Spouse function. Thank goodness I had some friends who helped out. So here is a photos of what they looked like.

I am friends with many people who are avid bloggers. Nearly every day I get little messages saying they have updated their blog. While I enjoy blogging and sharing with everyone, I find myself often overwhelmed by the seer necessity of all the other stuff such as being a wife, a mom, maid, cook, chauffeur, stamping and creating are just a few. I admire them and wonder how they do it all. So in my vain attempt to gain more control over my life and the many balls I constantly keep juggling I have made an "appointment" for my time in increments of 15 minutes. Now, this isn't to say that I will adhere to it that strictly, but I think this will help me get more accomplished and waste less time. So far....it has worked wonders....except with the laundry. I keep just skipping over that time. I will have to work on that. :)

So it seems fall is quickly approaching. In my house I have been wanting hot chocolate, but yet when I am sitting sweat trickles down my back taking away the desire for a piping hot drink. So instead I made this little box which would be so cute to pass cider and other tasty fall treats in.

Crazy weekends

So this past week flew by unbelievably fast. Bazaars, Classes, Market Days, FunShops, Custom Orders, Craft Stores. It is amazing how quickly this week went by. I think I had something booked just about every evening as well as during the day. But yet, I found myself enjoying the challenge, not struggling to maintain a balance. Yes, being a demonstrator keeps me busy. However, creating inspires me. Hopefully I will get one of the items I created up soon.

Simplicity

Sometimes when I am creating cards, I keep thinking of more, more. What else can I do with my cards. But finally I had to just step back and go very simple. So here is my simplicity, a feeling of bliss.

I used one our new papers, called Reece, with the Reece accessories. I used sparkle and wild for you stamp sets. I hope you enjoy it and that it inspires you to create something simple. Yet beautiful.

Start of my blogging life

Today while I was surfing the web, doing my e-mail correspondence and catching up on life. But basically wasting a lot of time as well. I decided to start my own webpage and blog. It's been something I have played around with in my mind for quite some time. So I decided to take the bait and do it. Of course, I was also looking for inspiration to get me past my creative block. I think it may have worked, but I have yet to put much into creating. Currently my studio needs to righted. After much work over the past few days...my stamps here, ink pads there...sticky pieces of paper where I changed my mind. Once I put that to right, I will again start creating...My little blessing will be going off to bed soon and then off to lock myself in the studio. So now I am part of the blogging world and will post something in the next few days of what I have created.
